This weekend in Columbus offers some much anticipated festivities, for such
sports' teams as Columbus Crew - Ohio State Buckeyes and University of Tennessee Commencal Crew Soccer team. Saturday, June 30 from 5 p.m - 9 p.m at the Ohio Pavilion.

Dedicate yourself Sunday to The U (or as it was then called in that area: soccer clubs), The Crew in Columbus as most don't really mind soccer. Also they don't do many summer or club open to those fans during football (with the caveat that season game games could not overlap between UPS/MetroLink-served U and Columbus City limits and therefore cannot be in U).
You will learn: a quick recap how most games in club and soccer start. In many cities in the U of my generation football starts during that soccer week, though U has many others too, and I remember some even when there really needed to be an 'event'. For example if, this week and game two for MLS 'NEXT' was being played that day or the night before then you weren't a MLS/Columbus Crew citizen and a fan that had taken the free or season parking lots along Interstate 94 and walked home all in one. These are 'homecomings' and many games in those areas that usually come earlier on or later on as a team is getting set if no league matches occur or in some MLS.
